Diary of A Wimpy Kid 

So I flooded the bathroom with lots of water

I really wish I would have been smarter

I knew dad would be really mad

But all I am is a young lad

I knew that I would have to find a fixture quick

But when I thought all I did was get sick

I was really nervous about what he would say

But I knew I would live another day

Everybody makes mistakes

And it’s nothing I haven’t done before

Even though there was water on the floor

I was really scared and didn’t know what do

But grandpa said he was going to the hardware store but he wouldn’t move

So when we got to the  to the hardware store we went to find some tools

That place was so boring all I did was drool

So we got back in the car to leave

But grandpa does not know how to drive

And with his driving I thought I was about to die

He failed his test last year and hasn’t driven since

But that was PAST TENSE

We were on the open road going really fast

I knew that this was not going to last

He ended up steering our car into the ditch

Mom came and asked us what were we thinking

I asked mom not to tell dad because I knew he would be mad

She said he would find out because of the car

Right now I knew I would be in so much trouble I just wanted to go to mars.

I’m always messing things up and can’t do anything right

So I went to bed thinking and full of fright

Monday

So yeah moms on her next goal that probably work out so this time she started a petition where people would go 24 hours without technology she had to have a hundred signatures to get the town to approve it.

So Mom got everyone in our family to sign it which I did not want to at all but I did because I love her. So she started off with 23 signatures she kept asking people around town but they didn’t  think it was a good idea, well I agree to I think it’s a terrible idea I need to play games to entertain myself or I will go crazy. But what am I worrying about I mean she will never hit 100 signatures no way!

Tuesday

I wake up this morning to find grandpa in our living room saying well “I need a place to stay because leisure towers is getting too expensive and I can’t afford it so he asked if he could stay and mom said yes and of course which room does he pick my room just my luck! 🙁 so now that  grandpa is staying at our house I can’t invite any friends over. Because mom is scared that he will scare them! 🙁

Wednesday

So mom’s petition is not going to good only 35 signatures. I heard Rodrick walk in and say he need money for his van of course Mom handed him 10$ and he walked out Dad told Mom that Rodrick is about to get a job because we can’t hand him money every time he needs gas. Rodrick looked for jobs and ended  up working at a Ice Cream Parlor were little kids came for their birthday Rodrick was on on his first shift so mom had the idea to go and see but he seemed kinda of nervous. So we just decided to go home. So on our way home we pull on to our street “Why are there so many cars out here mom asked” “I don’t know” dad said “I’m going inside to check”dad said I came in with him so we walk in to find a whole lot of elders having a party with grandpa who just so happened to be his lady friends.

Dad kicked everyone out so when the people left mom made people sign her petition.

It was just a bunch of elders  who probably did not even know that you can have technology and play it to entertain. Mom tricked a bunch of elderly’s into signing a petition for something they didn’t even know existed which was not fair 🙁

Thursday

So mom took her petition to the town hall today and they approved it our town was going technology free for 24 hours. I was so not happy about this whole deal I knew this was going to be a long day without anything to entertain myself with my dad told me that me and rowley should make a lemonade stand he gave us 20$ to help us get started so we went to the store on our bike’s and bought a bunch of stuff that we knew to buy. We bought lemons, sugar and waters. So when we get back me and rowley set up our lemonade stand and we get no customers. Maybe because the kid across the street had a huge lemonade stand with a sign that “Please help me buy medicine for my sick kitty” Which I think was a total lie I think he just wanted to attract customers by telling a lie. But finally we got our first customer it was a cyclist who was very thirsty we think so we asked if he would like to some lemonade but all he did was criticise on how it was to sweet then another customer showed up and then said no thank you and then criticised on how we used the same cup for every  customer. So we just quit the lemonade business and I doubt that dad would give us more money for supplies so I thought for a minute what if we made a fitness water so I named it NRG Fitness Water. We tried to sell at the same place but that other kid was getting all of the business so then I remembered that there was a big park cleanup going on down at the park so we loaded as much of our product into a wagon as we could and went down and even better news the water fountain was broke so i knew we would make a killing but we saw mom and mom told us to work and I said we’re  going to sell fitness water and she said that no one would buy it because why pay for water they already have I said the water fountain is broken but then when I turned around the lady’s in the flower bed started pouring the water on the ground like it was nothing. I was pretty aggravated  but then I ended up raking leaves for the rest of the day 🙁

Friday

So this morning I wake up and all the technology is back which I’m super happy about so a couple weeks ago dad yelled at me for not putting the cap back on the toothpaste bottle which I didn’t think was a big deal but when I brushed my teeth my hand accidently hit it in the drain and it went down and if dad knew the cap wasn’t on the bottle he would kill me so I went and got tools and took the sink apart but I think I was supposed to turn the valve off or something because water started spewing everywhere which I knew was a big deal I ran downstairs and got more towels but it started leaking through the roof and I knew I was in big trouble I knew this was not going to be good and I knew I was going to be in big trouble. 🙁

 

Tenth Birthday
I remember the day I turned 10, it was the best day ever and my mom told me she had special things planned for me.
I woke up and I was 10! It was February 20, 2014 and I knew I was going to have fun. “Mom what are we doing today?” I asked, “I’m taking you to Air U” She exclaimed. I love to go to Air U because that meant dodgeball! I was so ecstatic because we only go every once in a while. So when we got there I went immediately to the dodgeball area, The round was just starting. I made it in a nick of time! The referee said 3, 2, 1, go!! We ran to the middle and grabbed the balls, and started throwing. I got the first out and more. We were unstoppable. But then… A teenager had got everyone out except for me. He threw his last ball on his side. I front flipped over it landed it, and then pegged him before he could do anything. I had won the game!
After the game I was sweaty and tired. My birthday was awesome because I got to do something I loved to do. But remember to be grateful for what you have because some people do not get to do this.

The True Melody

The girl on the inside

When told has no meaning

Face scrunches and starts steaming

Even though cant say a word

That won’t stop her life on earth

Melody is the best of them all

But even though she has to be pushed around

That won’t her from playing on the playground

The girl on the inside is smart

But some people judge the outside and say she is not a work of art

Even though Melody goes to room H5

She sometimes thinks they treat them like there 5

Melody wants in real classes and to be treated right not have fright

She wants real friends who stick up for her not leave her in the dirt

Melody is strong, tough and smart

She is the best and wants to be like the rest.

Just like the rest.

2 Lessons I learned from the Holocaust is…….

 

 

• People are people, and what does it matter if someone is like the way they are? Because people are Jewish that does not mean they are terrible and dumb. People need to be respected for the way they are and the way they choose to do things.

• Another one is that Jews who are not trying to do any harm should not be taken in for something they have not even done!

 

 

Dear Diary,

 

Today Kirsti broke a button on her jacket so we had to go the button shop down the street, but for some reason the shop was closed and had German words on it. We went back home and told Mama that the shop was closed and had German words on it, but for some reason when I told her she got scared and ran downstairs to the Rosen’s apartment I asked what was wrong but she said “I’ll be back in a moment”  I’m  going to talk to Mrs. Rosen she told me to start peeling potatoes and watch Kirsti. I was very confused I didn’t know what was going on? Why would she want to go talk to Mrs. Rosen? I did not really know so I went ahead and got in bed. But then Mom walked in with a candle and asked me if I was still awake but she said Peter was here. Peter is a very nice man he was going to mary Lisa but my sister but…… she kinda went away. I walked in the living room and yelled Peter!! I hadn’t seen him in a  long time but there was something scary about him being here, because Copenhagen has a curfew 8:00 pm. Peter had brought us gifts me and Kirsti sea shells and momma and daddy beer. We loved our gifts but then peter said that germans have issued many stores to close

that are ran by Jews. I thought for a minute and wondered is Mrs. Hirsch Jewish, What if that is the reason the button shop is closed? But why would they close the button shop I mean that was their way of making a living and now what? Papa said friends would take care of them. But Peter said this is the Germans way of tormenting. But I jumped and said Moma Papa the Rosens are Jewish to. I don’t know what I would do without my best friend Ellen even though they are Jewish what harm is it doing? Moma and Papa looked at me very seroius. Mom said she had talked to Mrs. Rosen this afternoon and she said that they would be ok and it wouldn’t affect them. But I remembered that Mr. Rosen was a teacher not a shop owner, Papa Can they? No they will be alright Annemarie. I was going to ask if they could stay here but I guess not Papa told me to look out for Ellen and the soldiers on the street. But then Papa brought up what happened on Osterbrogade. I told him it was nothing and that he shouldn’t worry about it. I think they were bored and wanted someone to talk to. But I remembered when Papa said that all of Denmark was the King’s  Bodyguard well I told him that everyone in Denmark should be the Jews Bodyguard. “So we shall be” Said Papa. But Peter said “I must go” Papa said “It’s way past your bedtime” “So once more I got into bed with Kirsti” But as I layed in my bed I remembered that Papa said three years before that he would die for the king and so would Mama and she announced she would to at the age of 7 but now she 10 years old and does not have goofy dreams about cupcakes and now she and all the Danes were to be bodyguards for Ellen’s Parents and for all of Denmark Jews I sat in the dark and felt frightened. But I pulled a blanket over my head and try to fall asleep and thought o there are soldiers that is true and the corageous Resistance leaders  who sometimes lost their lives; that was true to. But the ordinarys like the Rosens and us? But I thought to myself I am glad to be an ordinary person who would never be called apon for courage, But Until Next Time Stay Strong -AnneMarie (Yahn) zzzzzzzz

I walked downstairs to find tons of presents! WOOOP EEEEEE

Santa came I was so happy to find my presents !

I opened my presents one at a time.

I enjoyed the presents because they were fine,

I had got an Iphone 6.

 I was so ecstatic that I had got my first phone.

It was the best day of my life I didn’t feel alone.

 I always knew I could trust Santa Even if i didn’t write a list.

 

My Experience From Riding Titanic

The year was 1907. but I remember it like it was yesterday.

The White Star Line was a company who made passenger liners.They had made plans to build three big ships Titanic, Olympic  and Brittanic to be built later.   Olympic had been built and started its maiden voyage.Titanic’s bow had been launched successfully. Titanic spent the next three months getting Fitted with tables, chairs, and getting loaded with food making everything cozy for the passengers.   On April 9,1912 a couple of days before the maiden voyage.I went to the doc to find Titanic and Olympic sitting side by side!I thought it was the coolest thing ever. When I told my parents about the 2 ships, They said, “What are you talking about”? I told them again,They said they have never heard of this.They said that we can board Titanic with second class tickets or “the ship of dreams”. So on April 11,1912 oneday before the voyage we started to pack clothes,snacks,drinks. We were ready to go.I was so ready for a trip like this.  The next morning we went down to the doc, we couldn’t believe how grand Titanic was. We boarded the ship, and went to go look around It was absolutely impressive. We were so thrilled and we hadn’t even left the doc yet.    The Clock Struck 12 noon Titanic was ready to sail. When it was time to start picking up passengers we went to France, then Southampton, Then last but not least Ireland. Once wehad the 2,500 people on board we left the doc steaming for New York.  So there we were steaming through the Atlantic Ocean. Titanic was making great time we were steaming at 24 knots an hour. Titanic had been receiving several ice warnings,  they had got seven in one hour.      My parents and I had been enjoying our trip.  And the service was great, The food was excellent, They had everything perfect. But then we felt this loud rumble on the ship, we didn’t know what it was. My dad and I went on the deck to find people yelling and screaming in worry.  We ran back to our room at once to warn my mom that the ship had just scraped an iceberg and started to take on water!  My mom dad and I ran to the lifeboats they had started deploying them as soon as we got there.   They loaded my mom and I first. my dad tried to get on but they said just women and children as they hoisted us down we waved to my dad and sent air kisses. He said he would see us later. we saw all the lifeboats go into the water full of women and children. We heard screams and yells for help sadly my dad was one of them. We had been grateful to get on a lifeboat in time. We were very sad because I never saw my dad again. Every day I say a prayer to my dad and tell him we miss him. I always remember his last words. “I will see you later, be brave and strong”.
